Back to Viltheed At last, the Dreamstone is mine!
The Urpneys return triumphantly to Viltheed. Zordrak turns Amberley to stone, and the Dreamstone is thrown into Rufus meets Pildit the Pit of No Return, which is guarded by the ferocious Frazznats. Zordrak can now unleash his Argorribles upon the unsuspecting world. Back in the Land of Dreams, Rufus meets Pildit, the Leader of the Wuts, who offers to help him on his journey.

Rufus learns to fly The Argorribles and the Egg of Death
Now that Zordrak has the Dreamstone, he sends his Argorribles into the Land of Dreams to cause nightmares. Pildit gives Rufus a magic leaf and they fly off into the Mist The Egg of Death of Limbo together. As they approach Viltheed, Zordrak launches the Whirlyped in an unsuccessful attempt to use a mighty weapon called the Egg of Death against them. Zordrak is furious and his rage causes a landslide which buries Pildit. The Urpneys celebrate.

Rufus weeps for his lost friend Rufus succeeds
Rufus, spurred on by the apparent death of Pildit, approaches Viltheed on foot, during the Urpneys' party. He finds Amberley's statue, which comes back to life when he expresses his affection for her. Rufus jumps into the pit Amberley shows Rufus where Zordrak threw the Dreamstone, and they hatch a plot to get it back by throwing Urpney statues into the pit to distract the Frazznats. Rufus bravely dives into the Pit of No Return and regains the Dreamstone. Zordrak throws a lightning bolt at Rufus, but the Dreamstone's power repels it. The Noops see a vision of the Dreammaker, who advises them to remember just how powerful the Dreamstone is.

The Dreammaker appears to Rufus and Amberley

Rufus, Amberley and Pildit make their escape Using the Stone's magic, Rufus and Amberley are able to escape. The Urpneys give chase, but Pildit, who survived the rockfall, comes to the rescue on a magic leaf. They all fly back to the Land of Dreams, and the Dreamstone is returned to its rightful place. Amberley tells the Dreammaker about Rufus's bravery, and the villagers all turn out to cheer him. Zordrak vows he will be back for the Dreamstone.
