Zordrak
The Lord of Nightmares. This huge, fearsome dragon-like monster is the Dreammaker's mortal enemy. Zordrak was once a dream-maker himself, but was banished into space for abusing his powers by turning dreams into nightmares. He has sworn to take revenge on the Dreammaker and put an end to pleasant dreams for good, by destroying the Dreamstone.
Urpgor
Possibly the only intelligent Urpney in existance; an insane, green-skinned inventor, with a shock of pink hair and three pairs of glasses. Shamelessly sucks up to Zordrak, but secretly wants to rule Viltheed instead of him. Urpgor treats the other Urpneys with incredible contempt, and is always thinking of new ways to insult them or make them suffer.
Sergeant Blob
Current commander of the Urpney army, a fat, loud-mouthed bully. He is always selected to test Urpgor's inventions for getting across the Mist of Limbo, usually accompanied by Frizz and Nug.
 Frizz
Short, whiney Urpney with spectacles. Usually the one to insist that the mission is pointless or too dangerous, and he wants to go home.
Nug
Tall, purple-haired urpney, quite creative as Urpneys go, but basically still pretty stupid. Usually joins Frizz in complaints about their poor treatment. Loves mud.
Argorribles
Basically, living nightmares – evil-looking pink mists which waft around tormenting people. Normally, they are kept at bay by the power of the Dreamstone.
Frazznats
Horrid shark-like things with big claws. Zordrak keeps them in a pit in his enormous throne room, and feeds them with urpneys that disobey him.
Zarag
Zordrak's vain, screechy sister, who also wants the Dreamstone – but to wear in her hair! She is said to have been romantically linked with the Dreammaker a long, long time ago...
